Overview

Meet as well as listen to the whales leaping in and out of the waters with this exciting Sydney Harbour cruise. Sydney witnesses the annual migration of humpback whales from May through November and spotting these playful creatures is one of the must-do’s in Sydney during this period.

With an expert marine biologist onboard, learn about the whales’ behaviour and characteristics, as well as hear the whales sing, play and chat with fellow creatures on a special underground microphone – an experience exclusive to this cruise!

Itinerary

To begin your Sydney Whale Watching Cruise, board your catamaran from the meeting point and set sail in the middle of the sea to spot the playful humpback whales.

Get up close with the whales as you see them tail and fin slapping in the water. An experienced onboard marine biologist will give you interesting information about the whales and their behaviour. The ultra-modern whale watching catamaran allows everyone front row views of the whales leaping in and out of the water.

This Sydney Harbour cruise also allows you to listen to the whales sing and chat with each other from the underwater microphone installed in the catamaran. This technology is the same model that is used by scientists to investigate whale acoustics around the world.

While watching the whales, also see stunning views of the iconic sights of Sydney Harbour like the Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Fort Denison and more! During the cruise, you will be served complimentary tea and coffee by the friendly onboard crew.

Your Sydney Harbour whale watching cruise will end at the original point of departure.
