Overview

Observe whales from the safety of your family-friendly catamaran, with indoor and outdoor seating over multi-levels. Enjoy expert commentary and insights into whale behavior by a Marine Naturalist.

Sydney boasts an impressive five-month whale-watching season, with over 20,000 Humpback whales passing through on their annual 3,500km migration from sub-Antarctic waters to the Great Barrier Reef. Peak viewing occurs in June and July as whales head north to give birth, and again in September and October during their southern return. In August, watch for breathtaking breaches from younger males.

Your adventure begins at Circular Quay, where you’ll cruise past the Opera House and Harbour Bridge while spotting dolphins, seals, and seabirds. An expert commentator will provide fun and educational insights into whale behavior throughout the trip.

And guess what? If no whales are spotted, you can cruise again for free!
