Thyssen Museum

The Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum houses an incredible collection of predominantly European art. The curation began in 1920 and the Museum is home to big names and documentation of major movements, from the Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, and Rococo works, to Romanticism and Pop Art. Not to mention, you can also explore a fascinating collection of 13th and 14th century medieval art.
Note: The ticket grants you access to the permanent collection - temporary exhibitions are not included.

Prado Museum

Discover one of the world's greatest art galleries - the Museo Nacional del Prado. Home to works by legendary masters like Raphael, Rubens, Bosch, and more, the sheer scale of Prado can seem to be overwhelming but there’s no doubt that it is an unforgettable affair. You can start with its most famous painting – the larger than life Las Meninas by Velazquez, which shows Princess Margarita and her two ladies-in-waiting, plus the artist himself, complete with his palette and brush.!

Reina Sofia Museum

Housing late 19th and 20th century art, dedicated to Queen Sofia, this Museum is home to approximately 20,000 pieces. Including masterpieces by both Spanish and international artists, Picasso to Braque, Miro, Dali and others, it is one of the most popular places for exploring modern art.
